It has not been rossy for the duo that has 11 Ballon d'Or between them at their new home. Lionel Messi said goodbye to Barcelona, a club he has spent most part of his life with and joined Paris Saint Germain after contract fell out with Barcelona.
Cristiano Ronaldo was having it rough at Juventus and didn't see he reason to continue at the Serie A team any longer. He joined his former team Manchester United and made a return to the English Premier League.
Little did he know that he would be having it worse in Manchester United. Since his arrival the team has been humiliated more than enough and the season is just getting started. Manchester United now sits seventh of the table with just 14 points after nine games. Ronaldo has helped secure 6 points in the UEFA Champions League this season but his frustration in the club is more than visible.
Lionel Messi can be said to be having it better considering the fact that PSG is sitting pretty at the bottom of Ligue 1 with 28 points and seven points ahead the next team. But the six times Ballon d'Or winner is yet to see the back of the net in Ligue 1, though he has scored three goals in the UEFA Champions League. It is obvious the managers of both are at the verge of losing their job if they can't utilize the super stars and get the best out of them.
