Despite the fact that the England team could not conquer the long-awaited title of Euro 2020, there were players who uncovered and played a great tournament. Among them is Manchester United's left-back, Luke Shaw, who was one of the great protagonists of the cast of the ‘Three Lions’ in the UEFA competition.

From the beginning of the competition, the former Southampton went from less to more, raising his level and contributing his football skills to the English team. Of course, the only game in which he started as a substitute was against Croatia. Since then, there was no other footballer to remove him from the post. It even became one of the main threats in the attack on England. As we well know, he assisted in the round of 16 against Germany (2-0), gave passes against the Ukrainian team (0-4) and scored the first goal of the final against the ‘Squadra Azzurra’ in just 117 seconds.

However, despite being the fastest scoring in all the Euro Cup finals, the Italian National Team ended up winning the penalty shoot-out to lift the competition trophy for the second time in its history. Now, a revelation made by ‘The Telegraph’ has targeted the side.

According to information provided by the media, Shaw played the final phase of the tournament with a broken rib. Apparently, the defender would have been injured in the duel against Germany for the round of 16, and would have played the rest of the competition with discomfort, which was not evidenced by his high level.
