This Sunday, August 1, at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the teams of the United States and Mexico will face each other for the Grand Final of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup, with more than 65 thousand people who will be present living this confrontation.

Although the tickets were sold out since last June 11, breaking a record for the history of the competition, the exponential increase in positive cases of Coronavirus in the country have forced the health authorities to resume measures to prevent a new outbreak massive.

In that sense, although the presence of fans in the 2021 Gold Cup Final between the United States and Mexico will not be prohibited, by order of the Federal Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Governor of the State of Nevada, Steve Sisolak , announced a mandatory requirement for all who attend Allegiant Stadium.

According to the new regulations, which came into force as of this Friday, July 30, it restores the mandatory use of masks, even in closed spaces and for vaccinated people, in Nevada counties where there is a "substantial" vulnerability or "high" by COVID-19.

In this way, the 65 thousand fans who attend the Gold Cup Final between the United States and Mexico must wear chinstraps during their entire stay at the Allegiant Stadium, and there will even be exhaustive surveillance to guarantee compliance with the measure, so Those who do not obey the measure will be expelled from the premises.
