After the departure of Guillermo Barros Schelotto from the LA Galaxy, there has been much talk about who was going to be the successor but finally it seems that Robbie Keane took a slight advantage over Miguel Herrera and Javier Aguirre. If Keane is confirmed as LA Galaxy coach, a Mexican Liga MX player could be brought back to replace Pavon.

Keane doesn't have much coaching experience but he knows the LA Galaxy well. He is one of the best players in his entire history and that is why he would have the approval of the fans and the owners. The player who could make it to the LA Galaxy if Keane is a coach already shared a roster with the Irishman when they were both LA Galaxy players in 2015.

Giovani Dos Santos is in America de Mexico and is questioned but continues to show great level. The LA Galaxy are trying to fully enter the Mexican market and for that reason they would consider Dos Santos as a great addition. Also in LA Galaxy are Chicharito Hernandez and Gio's brother so as a group it could add a lot.

The experience of Gio Dos Santos and Robbie Keane could give the team more order. Dos Santos would arrive to replace Cristian Pavon since LA Galaxy will not make use of their purchase option because they consider that the figure is too high. For this reason, a place for a new Designated Player will remain vacant.
